POLICY

At Nomad Bloom, we strive to create a safe, inclusive, and enjoyable environment for all campers. To achieve this, it is essential that every participant understands and follows the camp rules. These guidelines ensure the well-being of all attendees and help maintain a positive atmosphere. Compliance with these rules is mandatory for all campers.

Camp Participation

  • Nomad Bloom camps are open to children aged 5-18, depending on the specific camp program.
  • Each camp will only run if the minimum number of participants is met. If a camp is canceled due to low enrollment, families will receive a full refund.
  • Parents should only register for camps that align with their child’s age and skill level.


Camp Responsibilities & Supervision

  • Nomad Bloom is committed to delivering engaging, high-quality activities in a safe and structured environment.
  • Supervision: Our trained staff will ensure that all activities are conducted safely and that campers are actively supervised throughout the day.

Medical Declaration & Fitness for Camp Activities

  • As required by Hungarian law (Népjóléti Minisztérium 12/1991. V. 18.), parents/guardians must complete and sign before the camp begins. This form confirms that:**
    • The child is medically fit to participate in camp activities.
    • The child does not have a communicable disease at the start of camp.
    • Any known allergies, food sensitivities, medical conditions, or special educational needs have been fully disclosed.
  • Failure to provide the signed Health Declaration Form or submitting false or incomplete information may result in exclusion from the camp without a refund.
  • Nomad Bloom shall not be liable for any illness, allergy, or medical condition that was not disclosed in the Health Declaration or Sign-Up Form.

 

Health Monitoring, Communicable Diseases & Injuries

  • If a child exhibits symptoms of a communicable disease at the start of or during camp, Nomad Bloom reserves the right to exclude the child from camp following Hungarian public health regulations.
  • If a child must leave the camp due to illness or injury, parents must arrange immediate pick-up.
  • If a child recovers and provides a doctor’s note, they may return to camp if the session is still ongoing.
  • If a child is required to isolate at camp due to illness, Nomad Bloom is not responsible for any disruptions, discomfort, or loss of camp time, and no refund will be issued.
  • Parents acknowledge that even with the greatest care, the possibility of infection or injury cannot be excluded with absolute certainty.



Sports Activities & Assumption of Risk

  • By registering for the camp, parents acknowledge that participation in sports activities carries inherent risks, including injury or accidents.
  • The parent agrees that their child participates in all sports and camp activities at their own risk.
  • Nomad Bloom is not liable for any injuries resulting from participation in sports or camp activities, except in cases of proven negligence.

 

Insurance Requirements & Medical Expenses

  • Parents must certify that their child has one of the following for the camp duration:
    • Valid Hungarian TAJ social insurance coverage, OR
    • A valid European Health Insurance Card (EHIC), OR
    • Private health insurance that covers all camp activities, including sports programs.
  • Failure to provide valid insurance proof before camp may result in exclusion without refund.
  • Parents are responsible for all medical expenses incurred during the camp.
  • Nomad Bloom is not responsible if the child’s insurer refuses to cover medical expenses for any reason.

 

Food Policy

  • Parents are responsible for packing their child’s lunch each day.
  • Nomad Bloom will provide snacks and additional drinks throughout the camp.
  • If a child has specific dietary restrictions, parents must inform Nomad Bloom in advance to ensure proper accommodations.

 

Conduct & Behavior

  • Campers are expected to show respect toward instructors, fellow campers, and camp facilities.
  • Any form of bullying, harassment, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated and may result in dismissal from camp without a refund.
  • Campers must follow camp rules and safety guidelines, including:
    • Staying with their assigned group unless permitted by staff.
    • Handling equipment responsibly.
    • Reporting any safety concerns immediately.

 

Personal Belongings

  • Campers are responsible for their own belongings during camp.
  • Nomad Bloom is not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items.
  • Campers should only bring necessary items and avoid valuable belongings.

 

Media Release

  • Nomad Bloom may take photos and videos during camp activities for promotional purposes.
  • By enrolling in the camp, parents/guardians grant permission for their child to be featured in marketing materials (social media, website, flyers, etc.).
  • If a parent does not wish for their child to be featured, they must notify Nomad Bloom in writing before the camp starts.

 

Camp Schedule & Changes

  • Camp hours are from 8:45 AM to 3:30 PM.
  • Parents must arrange for on-time pick-up, as after-hours supervision is not provided.
  • Nomad Bloom reserves the right to modify the camp schedule, activities, or location due to unforeseen circumstances.

 

Sibling Discount

  • Families enrolling multiple children in the same camp session receive a 10% discount for the second and additional child(ren).
  • This discount does not apply to the Watersports Camp in Croatia.

 

Equipment & Required Gear

  • Depending on the camp, participants may need to bring specific equipment (e.g., bike, roller skates, scooter, helmet).
  • A detailed equipment list will be provided before the camp.

If a child does not have the required equipment, parents must inform Nomad Bloom in advance to discuss possible solutions.
